I'm about done with my project as of last class.  I picked to do my favorite guitar player's hand, which is missing his middle finger.  Jerry Garcia played for the Grateful Dead and lost his finger when he was young.  So, I casted my hand to look like his and I'm also carving a rose beside the hand.  The rose represents a lot of the Grateful Dead songs and is an icon in the dead community.  You can consider this a conceptual piece because of my specific ideas.  Below are images of Jerry's hand and him himself.
